Signature Calvary - May Drop

Calvary came together slowly and emotionally.

There are certain signature pieces that feel less like I’m designing them and more like I’m uncovering them piece by piece. This was one of those works.

I started with only a few forms laid out on the floor of the studio. A line. A circle. Negative space. Then more shapes began entering the conversation naturally, almost like the piece already knew what it wanted to become long before I did.

As I worked, Calvary became deeply reflective for me. It carries tension and grace at the same time. Strength and surrender. The kind of emotional weight that doesn’t need to shout in order to be felt.

This piece became a reminder that creativity itself often asks something of us. Trust. Vulnerability. Patience. The willingness to keep building even when you cannot yet see the full picture.

These signature works are incredibly personal to me because they are the origin point. They are where new ideas are tested, where intuition takes over, and where future collections quietly begin before anyone else sees them.

Every line in Calvary was placed by feeling first. And I think you can feel that when you stand in front of it.
